Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl

The Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl returns on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 11 am to 7 pm. Join us in downtown Reno for a festival that celebrates the written word! Explore a joyful day of panel discussions, book signings, workshops, and family-friendly activities that brings together the rich literary talent of Nevada and beyond. All events are hosted at local business venues throughout the California Avenue corridor in downtown Reno. The Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl is free and open to participants of all ages.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

KEYNOTE EVENT

This year’s highly anticipated keynote speaker is bestselling novelist Anthony Doerr, author of Cloud Cuckoo Land and All the Light We Cannot See—winner of the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction. Doerr will discuss his work with author Christopher Coake, and a moderated Q-and-A session and a book signing will follow the keynote event. Tickets are required for admission.

Our keynote event with Anthony Doerr is SOLD OUT. If you have signed up on the waitlist, we will contact you by email if a ticket becomes available.

WORKSHOPS

This year's Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl will feature three interactive workshops with Dayvid Figler, December Cuccaro, Naseem Jamnia, and Natalie Van Hoozer. Space is limited and registration is free.

What’s Your Story? Storytelling Workshop with Dayvid Figler
